Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck announced their divorce a smooth 24 hours ago, but already the Internet is ready for them to cry a river, build a bridge, and GET OVER IT.

In her memoir True Love, J.Lo *did* call Ben her "first real heartbreak." And in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter in 2012, Affleck *did* say Bennifer 1.0 still keeps in touch: “There will be an e-mail saying, 'Oh, your movie looks great,'” he explained. “I respect her. I like her. She's put up with some stuff that was unfair in her life, and I'm really pleased to see her successful."
