In the wake of the singer's on-stage injury last week, another performance of her Vegas stage show has been postponed.
It looks like Britney Spears' ankle injury was more damaging than previously expected, as the singer has announced the cancellation of yet another performance of her Planet Hollywood show Britney: Piece of Me.
According to a press statement released Tuesday by Planet Hollywood, the cancellation of her May 6 show comes at the advice of Spears' physician.
"Britney’s doctor has advised her not to perform Wednesday evening so that she may continue to heal from an ankle injury sustained during her performance last week," the statement read.

Spears also posted a message to her fans on Instagram. Below a short video her performing on stage, Spears wrote, "Devastated. My ankle still isn't healed up & I have to reschedule tomorrow's show. I miss this so much & all of u!"
Spears has already cancelled two shows, May 1 and 2, in the wake of an on-stage injury the 33-year-old singer sustained during a performance of "(You Drive Me) Crazy" during her concert on April 29.
NEWS: Britney Spears Is on the Mend
On May 1, Spears posted a photo to Instagram showing her ankle supported by a black boot brace, and promised her fans that she would be rescheduling her cancelled performances.
On May 3, Spears was spotted without the brace playing in the sand with her family, which generated speculation that the singer may not have been as badly injured as previously believed.
However, it appears that her doctor believes she still hasn't healed enough to perform in her Vegas stage show.
