Who knew performing at Coachella could result in a broken bone?
Florence Welch, lead singer of Florence and the Machine, revealed on Tuesday that she broke her foot during her memorable Coachella performance on Sunday.

Welch leaps off the stage around the 57:00 minute mark.
“I'm so sorry to say, that after what was one of my favourite shows ever at Coachella, I have discovered I have broken my foot from leaping off the stage,” she wrote on Facebook, with an X-ray image of her foot.
The 28-year-old singer revealed that her upcoming shows “will have to be somewhat stripped back.”

Welch expressed her sadness over the unforeseen circumstance, apologizing to her fans for the setback – but did not cancel her previously scheduled tour dates promoting her new album How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful.
“I'm so sorry, I'm pretty devastated, but I still want to do the shows,” she continued. “I understand this is not what you were expecting, but I hope its just as enjoyable. I'm going to try and make it super special for you.”
She did put a timetable on her recovery, however, telling fans she was aiming to be back on her feet in time for Glastonbury in late June.
“This album was so much about making something from what was broken, so lets see what we can do with this,” she wrote.
