Is the Pope gaining too much weight?

While this sounds like a sad Italian diet, it is one that Pope Francis is allegedly being told to follow.
According to the Telegraph, the Pope's doctors are noticing his weight gain since he was first elected the head of the Roman Catholic Church, and they're blaming too much spaghetti, ravioli and not enough exercise.

His doctors reportedly told Italian news agency Ansa, he needs a more "disciplined" regimen.
The 78-year-old has been outspoken about his love for pizza before, and in the October 2014 publication of Buon Appetito, Swiss Guard, soldiers of the Guard who work for the Vatican revealed that his favorite dishes include dulche de leche for desert, empanadas, roast sirloin steak and other Argentinian specialties.

All of this good food and his busy schedule may explain why according to Ansa, he "sometimes feels tired."
At Thursday's Chrism Mass in St. Peter's, he said, "The tiredness of priests. Do you know how often I think about this weariness which all of you experience? I think about it and I pray about it, often, especially when I am tired myself."
