Being a star comes with a lot of scrutiny, and all of your mistakes become front page news. Whether it's a drunk driving arrest, or simply riding your bike the wrong way down a street, if you end up in handcuffs, it ends up being a top story. And this year had no shortage of stars having run-ins with the police. Here's a look back on the year's 36 biggest celebrity arrests.
Tito Ortiz – The former MMA fighter was arrested on Jan. 6 on suspicion of driving under the influence after he drove his Porsche Panamera into the concrete median on the 405 freeway in L.A. at 4am.
Flavor Flav – The 55-year-old rapper was arrested on Jan. 9 for speeding while traveling to his mother's funeral. When police pulled him over, they discovered that he had 16 suspensions on his license and was allegedly in possession of marijuana.
David Cassidy – The singer and former member of the Partridge Family was arrested on Jan. 10 on suspicion of DUI after he allegedly took a breathalyzer test and was found to be over twice the legal limit.

Soulja Boy – The 23-year-old rapper was arrested in Los Angeles on Jan. 22 for possession of a loaded gun.
Justin Bieber – On Jan. 23, the "Boyfriend" singer was arrested in Miami Beach on suspicion of driving under the influence, driving with an expired license, and non-violently resisting arrest. Bieber was arrested again on Sep. 1 for dangerous driving and assault after an alleged collision between a mini-van and the pop-star's ATV.
Chris Kattan – The former SNL cast member was arrested on Feb. 10 on the 101 Freeway in the San Fernando Valley on suspicion of drunk driving. Kattan was reportedly weaving erratically on the freeway before running into the back of a Department of Transportation truck.
Sam Worthington – The Terminator Salvation star was arrested on Feb. 23 in New York after punching a paparazzo who had allegedly kicked Worthington's girlfriend in the shin.
George Lopez – The comedian was arrested for public intoxication on Feb. 27 after falling asleep on the casino floor at the Caesars Windsor in Canada.
Chris Pine – The Star Trek star was pulled over in New Zealand on Mar. 1, and was charged with driving under the influence. Pine plead guilty and was forced to pay $93 New Zealand dollars (around $79 U.S.). Pine also had his New Zealand driver's license suspended for six months.

Chris Brown – The "Look At Me Now" singer was arrested on Mar. 14 for violating his probation after he was kicked out of rehab for failure to follow the rules of the program.
Columbus Short – The former Scandal star was arrested three times in February and March 2014. He was arrested twice for allegedly assaulting or physically attacking his wife, and once for allegedly punching a man in a bar fight.
Judge Joe Brown - The former TV judge was arrested in March for contempt of court after an outburst he allegedly made while representing a woman during a child support hearing.
Stephen Baldwin – The Usual Suspects star was arrested in Manhattan on May 2 for driving with a suspended license.
Alec Baldwin – The volatile 30 Rock star was arrested on May 13 for riding his bike the wrong way down 5th Avenue in New York City.
Joe Francis – The former Girls Gone Wild producer was arrested on May 16 for allegedly attacking an employee at the Girls Gone Wild offices in L.A.

Wiz Khalifa – The rapper was arrested on May 25 for allegedly trying to bring marijuana through security at an airport in Texas.
Ray J – The rapper was arrested on May 30 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. Ray J had been asked to leave the hotel after allegedly groping a woman in the lobby. However, he reportedly refused to leave and allegedly began behaving belligerently towards police.
Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino – The Jersey Shore star was arrested on June 17 for getting into a fist fight with his brother at a tanning salon that they co-own.
Hope Solo – The Olympic gold medalist and soccer star was arrested on June 21 on charges of assaulting her half-sister and her nephew.
Shia LaBeouf – The Transformers star was arrested on June 26 and charged with disorderly conduct after disrupting a performance of Cabaret at New York's Studio 54, and then refusing to leave the theater.
Rick Ross – The rapper was arrested on June 27 after a performance at the 2014 SuperJam in Greensboro, North Carolina. The arrest comes from a warrant filed against the performer from the previous year for possession of marijuana.
Will Hayden – The star of the Discovery Channel docu-series Sons Of Guns was arrested on Aug. 11 on charges of molestation and rape of a pre-teen girl. Several additional charges of aggravated rape of different girls were added after the initial charges.

War Machine – The MMA Fighter was arrested on Aug. 15 in connection to an Aug. 8 incident in which he reportedly attacked his girlfriend, adult actress Christy Mack. Mack suffered 18 broken bones, a ruptured liver, afractured nose and a number of other injuries as a result of the attack.
Keyshia Cole – The 32-year-old singer was arrested on Sep. 18 after allegedly assaulting a woman who had supposedly been spending a lot of time with Cole's boyfriend.
Amanda Bynes – The troubled actress was arrested on Sep. 28 on suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance.
Michael Phelps – The Olympic legend was arrested on Sep. 30 on suspicion of driving under the influence in Baltimore after failing a field sobriety test.
Waka Flocka Flame - The 28-year-old rapper was arrested on Oct. 10 after security and police at Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport found a handgun in his carry-on luggage.
Nicholas Brendon – The former Buffy the Vampire Slayer star was arrested on Oct. 17 at a hotel in Boise, Idaho. Police were called when Brendon – believed to be intoxicated – allegedly caused a disturbance in the hotel lobby outside of the Tree City Comic Con.

Suge Knight & Kat Williams – The hip-hop mogul and the comedian were arrested on Oct. 29 for allegedly stealing a camera from a female paparazzo.
Phil Rudd - The AC/DC drummer was arrested on Nov. 6 on suspicion of attempting to hire a man to kill two people. Rudd was also reportedly in possession of methamphetamine.
Andy Dick – The actor was arrested on Nov. 8 after allegedly stealing a necklace off a man on Hollywood Blvd. He was charged with grand theft.
Buddy Valastro – The Cake Boss star was arrested on Nov. 13 on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Valastro allegedly told police, "You can't arrest me! I'm the Cake Boss."
Xzibit – The rapper was arrested on Nov. 30 on suspicion of driving drunk. The former host of Pimp My Ride was driving home from his own wedding reception.
Dimitri Diatchenko – The Sons Of Anarchy actor was arrested on Dec. 10 and charged with cruelty to an animal and criminal threats after he allegedly killed and ate his ex-girlfriend's pet rabbit, sent her photos of the killing, and then threatened to do the same to her.
Dustin Diamond – The former Saved By The Bell star was arrested on Dec. 26 for possession of a switchblade which the actor allegedly pulled out during a bar fight in which a man was stabbed.
