Rose McGowan Witnesses 'Knockout Game' Attack
Rose McGowan personally witnessed a particularly gruesome assault on a 65-year-old man from the "knockout game," a game in which one or more assailants -- usually teenagers -- attempt to knock out an unsuspecting victim with a single surprise punch.
"I just witnessed a 65 year old man get punched by an evil guy playing that goddamn knockout game. #criminal #heartbroken #whattheF?!," McGowan tweeted Thursday.
According to the Machete actress, the incident was in Venice, Calif., and the assailant was on a skateboard.
"Venice! Evil guy was wearing a mask. He was on a skateboard. Too fast. I chased," she tweeted.
The incident was so serious that she called the ambulance.
"Bleeding from the ear. Called an ambulance for him. His little dog tried to protect. :( ," she wrote.

CNN reported on the disturbing growth of reports of the knockout game in November, when a homeless man in New Jersey died when he was suddenly struck from behind. Surveillance video showed three teens running from the scene, who were arrested two weeks later and charged in connection with the killing.
