Paul Walker Talks About His Passion as a Father
When Paul Walker passed away on Saturday, he left behind his 15-year-old daughter Meadow. In his last interview with ET Canada on the set of the upcoming film Brick Mansions, Walker revealed that Meadow was not just his child, but also his confidante.
Despite her young age, Walker valued Meadow's opinion, saying that the two would discuss projects that he was considering.
"She's gotta be on board," said Walker, who sported a tattoo of his daughter's name on his wrist. "I'm only going to have her in the house for another couple years ... I gotta put in the time while I can."
At the time, Meadow was living with Walker full-time and was even with him while shooting Brick Mansions.
"[Meadow] is here with me. Her girlfriend came out from Hawaii and I've been taking them out to eat," said Walker. "It's been fun."
One area that Meadow never got to weigh in on was Walker's love life, as Walker focused too much on fatherhood to set aside time for a significant other.
"Right now there's only time for her," said Walker.
Walker died in a fiery car accident on November 30. He was 40 years old.
Walker's family asks that in lieu of flowers or other gifts that donations please be made to Paul's charity Reach Out Worldwide (ROWW). Donations can easily be made through their website at http://www.ROWW.org/.
