'Royal Pains' Rallies for Alzheimer's Support
The doctors of Royal Pains are confronted with some confounding ailments, and now they're using their real-life star power to honor those affected by one of the most prevalent unsolved diseases: Alzheimer's.
Mark Feuerstein ("Hank Lawson"), Ben Shenkman ("Jeremiah Sacani"), and Paulo Costanzo ("Evan Roth Lawson") of the USA drama Royal Pains, which returns on June 12 at 9 p.m., teamed up for a PSA encouraging all to participate in the Alzheimer’s Association's "Longest Day" on June 21 to honor the strength, endurance, and passion of those facing Alzheimer’s every day.

Over 35 million people worldwide are affected by the incurable disease, which is the sixth-leading cause of death in the United States, as more than five million Americans are currently living with the disease.
The "Longest Day," which will be held on the year's longest day, the summer solstice, teams across the world will come together for 16 hours of uninterrupted activity towards raising awareness and funds for the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.
