Bobby Brown Charged With DUI
The LA City Attorney's Office filed criminal charges today against Bobby Brown, stemming from the singer's October 24 arrest, ET has learned.
Supplementary to a charge of driving under the influence, Brown has been hit with two more charges related to a previous DUI conviction earlier this year. One for driving on a restricted license, and one for driving without an ignition interlock device.
Brown, 43, was pulled over around 1 a.m. Wednesday morning near Corbin and Ventura Avenue in Tarzana, where according to KTLA, police say they observed him driving erratically. He was booked in Van Nuys.
This is the second time Brown has been arrested for DUI in 2012. He was pulled over in March and pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor DUI charge and was sentenced to three years probation. He was also arrested for DUI and later pled guilty to a charge in Georgia in 1996.
If convicted on all charges, Brown could potentially serve two years in jail.
