Elisha Cuthbert Gets Engaged

Happy Endings star Elisha Cuthbert had a happy weekend, ending with an engagement to her longtime boyfriend, Toronto Maple Leafs captain Dion Phaneuf, Us Weekly reports.

According to the news source, the couple, who have been dating since 2008, celebrated their engagement at New Glasgow Lobster in Prince Edward Island, Canada last night.

A source told the magazine that Phaneuf, 27, "made the reservation about a week ago but never said it was for an engagement party ... They invited 40 friends and family to celebrate at the restaurant."

Both Phaneuf and Cuthbert hail from Canada.
