LL Cool J Captures Intruder Inside His Home
LL Cool J took matters in his own hands early Wednesday when he nabbed a robbery suspect who entered his home.
A 911 call was placed just before 1 a.m. from a girl who said her father had spotted an intruder inside their Studio City, CA home and was detaining him downstairs. Police said LL Cool J confronted the man -- described as a 58-year-old white homeless man -- in the kitchen.

Officers arrived and took the man into custody on suspicion of burglary. Police say there was a physical altercation between LL Cool J and the the suspect, who had minor bruises on his body and was taken to a local hospital
The rapper and NCIS: Los Angeles star was not injured and the intruder was apparently not able to steal anything.

In a statement to ET, a rep for LL Cool J said that he and his family were safe and appreciated the thoughts and concern from fans. "As a father, husband and citizen, LL Cool J is committed to keeping his family safe and is cooperating with authorities on this private matter."
