ET Investigates: The Santa Barbara Wedding Curse
Not unlike newlyweds Drew Barrymore and Will Kopelman, lovebirds often flock to the sun-kissed mountains and shores of Southern California's Santa Barbara to tie the knot, but oddly enough, the popular locale has proven an ill-fated wedding spot for celebrities.

Most recently, Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries called it quits just 72 days after their dream wedding in Santa Barbara last year. The couple said their "I Dos" with an estimated $10 million dollar ceremony, broadcast shortly after they made it official in August 2011. The pair split in October of that year.

Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli seemed poised to break the curse. The happy couple tied the knot in 2001 with a romantic wedding featured in the pages of InStyle Weddings. Sadly, Jennie and Peter scarcely made it past the ten year mark before calling it quits this spring.

Sandra Bullock married Jesse James in the region's idyllic wine country. The ceremony, catered in part by Sandra's sister Gesine, was a down-home affair wherein the groom-to-be arrived to the ceremony in his 4X4 truck. Their marriage ended in scandal when Jesse confessed to secret affairs with multiple women. After five years of marriage, they filed for divorce in the spring of 2010, just weeks after Sandra picked up her Best Actress Oscar for The Blindside.
