As a celebrity guest at a Disney’s Dreamers Academy event this past weekend, Sparks reflected in detail about what it was like working with Houston on the set of Sparkle.

Sparks also revealed that Houston made it her duty to mentor Sparks' during her movie debut just as Kevin Costner had done for her in her first film, The Bodyguard, when Houston was the same age as Sparks was during the filming of Sparkle.
