Yolanda Adams on Her 'Heartfelt' Whitney Tribute
One of the highlights of this year's NAACP Image Awards was a touching tribute to Whitney Houston performed by Yolanda Adams. The Grammy-award winner spoke to ET about her performance of the gospel song I Love the Lord, He Heard My Cry and gave her thoughts on losing the pop superstar.
"It was so heartfelt. First of all, she was an amazing person," Adams said. "It was very emotional, not because of Whitney, but because I know how she treated the song, and how much the love of the Lord was a part of her life."

Tracee Ellis Ross said her death was another major loss in the music world. "My heart goes out to her family and it is such a loss, not just personally, but to the world -- in terms of what she contributed."
