Whitney Houston Laid to Rest

In the presence of her closest friends and family, music legend Whitney Houston was laid to rest in a private ceremony at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, NJ.

A golden hearse adorned with Whitney's photo played her classic hit I Will Always Love You as it carried the late singer's body to her final resting place beside her father, John Russell Houston, one day after Houston's emotional home going at New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, New Jersey.

Fans lined the streets en route to the cemetery shouting their goodbyes to Whitney as the motorcade passed.
