Whitney Houston Found By Assistant in Bathtub
ET has learned new details about music legend Whitney Houston's death.
A source close to Whitney tells ET that Whitney was found by her assistant in the bathtub. When her 18-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina was told that her mother had passed away, she was hysterical and had to be sedated.
Whitney's ex-husband, Bobby Brown, was en route from Memphis to Los Angeles as of Saturday night.

Houston was pronounced dead at 3:55 p.m. at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California where she was a guest, Beverly Hills Police lieutenant Mark Rosen confirmed in a briefing. Police received a call at 3:43 p.m. from hotel security -- and Beverly Hills fire and police, who were already on the scene at the hotel due to the pre-Grammy event taking place later in the evening -- responded minutes later. Upon arrival, first responders discovered Whitney Houston "unresponsive." They initiated CPR, but attempts to resuscitate her were unsuccessful.

The cause of death is unknown, and is currently under investigation. According to Rosen, there was "no obvious evidence of foul play or cause of death."
