Nick Cannon Out of the Hospital

After suffering "mild kidney failure" last week, Nick Cannon has been released from the hospital and reportedly feels well enough to return to work shortly.

A rep for the actor told People.com, "Nick Cannon was released over the weekend to be with his family. He is resting and recovering at home and would like to thank everyone who has expressed concern, well wishes and prayers."

The rep went on to reveal that Rollin' with Nick Cannon listeners can look forward to the host's return on January 17. The radio show is broadcast on 92.3 NOW FM.

Nick's wife Mariah Carey initially announced her husband's ailment in a tweet posted early January 4 and continued to release updates about his progress via Twitter and her website.
