Alec Baldwin Honored Along with Mentor Norman Lear

Alec Baldwin was honored along with his longtime friend and mentor Norman Lear at an event to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the People For the American Way Foundation.

The star-studded affair brought together leading figures in entertainment, politics, religion and business to celebrate three decades of the organization, which aims to "protect freedom of speech, religious liberty, and equal rights for all people under the law."

Among those stopping by ET's red carpet position were Glee star Jane Lynch, Black Eyed Peas member will.i.am and Hollywood actor/producer/director Rob Reiner.
