Marc Anthony on His Split from Jennifer Lopez
For the first time, Marc Anthony gave his side of the story concerning his split with Jennifer Lopez in an exclusive interview with ABC News' John Quinones.
"It was a realization on both our parts, so, you know, it wasn't shocking," said the salsa king, categorically denying rumors that he ruined his marriage with affairs. "These things happen ... It was a decision that we made jointly."
Since the breakup, Marc has reportedly tried to avoid media hounds by spending time at his home in Long Island where he enjoys riding his motorcycle. He has also managed to keep busy by immersing himself in promoting his new Kohl's clothing line, the Marc Anthony Collection, launching in September.
The power couple announced their breakup in July. J.Lo was the first to break her silence concerning the news giving an interview with Vanity Fair in August.

The singer told the magazine that despite the failed relationship, love is her "biggest dream" and said that she and Marc had both "worked hard" to achieve it. "Sometimes it doesn't work -- and that's sad. But I remain an eternal optimist about love. I believe in love," Lopez said.
