Jesse James Gains Sole Custody of Daughter

Jesse James is making headlines this week with his confirmed split from "L.A. Ink" fiancée Kat Von D, but on the bright side, he has been awarded sole custody of his seven-year-old daughter Sunny.

People.com reports that the decision was made on Monday in an Orange County, CA courthouse after a several-years-long court battle with Sunny's mother, Janine Lindemulder.

Lindemulder will get monitored visitation of her daughter if she remains in California, but if she wants to relocate to Texas to be near her daughter, she will be ordered to inpatient rehab, according to James' attorney John Schilling.

"Jesse feels vindicated," Schilling tells People.com. "This is what he's been claiming all along, that Janine needs therapy."
