Singer Sean Kingston Critically Injured

Singer Sean Kingston is in the hospital today after crashing a personal watercraft into a bridge near Miami Beach.

Jorge Pino, a spokesman for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, said that Kingston and a female passenger were injured when their watercraft hit the Palm Island Bridge at approximately 6 pm on Sunday May 29, 2011. Another person had witnessed the accident and pulled Kingston from the water.

Kingston is currently at Jackson Memorial Hospital. His rep gave us this statement: "Sean Kingston is now stabilized and has moved from the trauma unit to ICU. Sean's family thanks everyone for their prayers and support during this time."

Kingston first rose to fame in 2007 with his hit song "Beautiful Girls."
