Jay Mohr and Nikki Cox Welcome First Child

Jay Mohr and wife Nikki Cox welcomed their first baby boy on Thursday, their rep told People.

Their new son, Meredith Daniel Mohr, weighed in at 6 lb., 7 oz. and the couple were eager to share the news of their new bundle of joy.

"We are over the moon, filled with joy and every other cliché new parents use," the couple said. "He's perfect."

Mohr, 40, and Cox, 32, have been married for five years prior to their first trip into parenthood.
