Mel B, Geri Horner (formerly Halliwell) and Emma Bunton released a special video on Friday to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Spice Girls' iconic breakout hit "Wannabe," and hinted at a big party for their loyal fans. Notably missing were Victoria Beckham and Mel C, aka Posh Spice and Sporty Spice.
The trio also debuted a new name -- "Spice Girls - GEM" -- which is their first initials combined.
"You've stood by us for 20 years," Geri, 43, says, "and we want to say a big thank you."
"And we want to celebrate and have a party, and when we do, you're all invited!," Mel, 41, excitedly adds.
The video ends with a message for fans.
"Happy 20th birthday to all our fans," the message reads. "This is a celebration for you! We hope to tell you soon what you want, what you really really want."
Geri also commemorated the girl group's milestone anniversary with a sweet throwback photo.
"20 years ago my back garden -- 'Wannabe' entered the charts, and our amazing journey began," the caption reads.
Meanwhile, Victoria chose to celebrate by bringing attention to the continuing global fight against HIV.
"#WhatIReallyReallyWant is no more girls dying of HIV @theglobalgoals X vb," she Instagrammed on Wednesday.
When ET chatted with Mel last month at the special Rooftop Cinema Club screening of Spice World in Los Angeles, the America's Got Talent judge confirmed that there have been "ongoing" talks about a Spice Girls reunion tour.
"It's an ongoing thing we keep talking about, and it is our 20th anniversary, so we're going to do something," she revealed. "We're just trying to figure that out right now. There will be something happening."
