Rapper Lil Wayne has finally revealed the release date for his long-awaited album The Cater V.
On Thursday, the hip hop star went on EPSN's SportsCenter to announce that his upcoming album would be hitting the shelves and digital platforms on October 28.
On the show, Lil Wayne also revealed the cover art for the album, which features a young, tattooed Lil Wayne standing next to his mother, Jacida Carter.
"I'm sorry moms! I didn't tell her about the picture that I was using for the album cover," Lil Wayne told SportsCenter.
When asked if she was going to be upset, the 31-year-old musician said, "I don't think she's going to be upset but I know personally that she don't really like that picture of herself 'cause she's not looking in the camera."
The cover is the third in Lil Wayne's Tha Carter series in a row to feature an image of him as a tatted-up little boy.
Guest appearances by Hip hop artists Nicki Minaj and Drake will also be featured in tracks on Tha Carter V.
