BTS: Rashida Jones Directs Sara Bareilles' Video
On the cusp on releasing her fourth studio album, singer-songwriter Sara Bareilles gave ET an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the music video for her latest single "Brave," which featured a special celebrity director.
For the video, Bareilles flocked to the streets of Los Angeles with none other than Parks and Recreation actress Rashida Jones calling the shots.
After the 33-year-old singer rehearsed her dance moves in a studio, the video's crew hid a camera in a trash can in a park in L.A. and stood back as Bareilles baffled passersby while she danced at midday for what seemed to be no reason at all.
"The hope is that nobody knows why Sara's just bugging out in the middle of a park by herself during lunch time," Jones said just before the shot a portion of the video
Bareilles' "Brave" is the first single off her upcoming fourth studio The Blessed Unrest, her follow-up to her popular Kaleidoscope Heart, which she released in 2010 to a No. 1 debut on Billboard's charts.
