Kanye West and Jay-Z Launch Group, Announce Tour

Kanye West and Jay-Z have launched their own new group, The Throne, and the duo will hit the road in a nationwide tour beginning in September.

The longtime friends collaborated on the album "Watch the Throne," which was recorded over the past year at global locations including London, Abu Dhabi, Sydney, Paris, and New York City.

"Watch the Throne" will be available exclusively on the iTunes store on August 8 and tickets for the tour also go on sale the same day. Fans who purchase their tickets online will receive a digital copy of "Watch the Throne." The album is due to hit stores Aug. 12.

Among others, the new album features vocals from Frank Ocean, Beyoncé and Curtis Mayfield. Last week, the two debuted their single "Otis" off the album, which can be heard here.

The tour has 24 confirmed dates across the U.S.
