Angelina Jolie has decided to take her talents behind the camera and while we anxiously await the Christmas Day release of her film Unbroken, the mother-of-six is busy working on her next flick, By the Sea.

In addition to starring in the romance drama, Jolie is also directing the film, which co-stars her new husband Brad Pitt. By the Sea takes place in France (and was filmed in Malta) during the mid-1970s, and follows Vanessa (Jolie), a former dancer, and her husband Roland (Pitt), an American writer, as they travel the country together. The couple seems to be growing apart, but when they linger in a quiet seaside town, they begin to draw close to some of its more vibrant inhabitants, such as a local bar/cafe-keeper and a hotel owner.
Ironically, Pitt and Jolie went into production of the husband-wife movie almost immediately after they were married in August.

She tells The Hollywood Reporter that she quickly learned the stresses of working with a loved one. "Yes, we spent our honeymoon playing two people in a terrible marriage," she recalled. "I'm sure a therapist would have a field day analyzing the films I choose to do."
Pitt and Jolie have not starred in a movie together since the 2005 romantic comedy Mr. and Mrs. Smith, where they met on set. It wasn't long after the film's release that Pitt was announcing his split from then-wife Jennifer Aniston. "But it's been 10 years since Brad and I have worked together," she said. "It felt like it was time."

The supportive husband was quick to give an update on Jolie's health, telling ET, "She's fine. She's a little polka dotted, she's like one of those connect-the-dots puzzles but her spirits are high and she's doing good."
