Andre 3000 (real name Andre Benjamin) portrays Jimi Hendrix in the upcoming biopic Jimi: All Is By My Side, and we have the new trailer!
Written and directed by Oscar winner John Ridley (12 Years A Slave), the movie covers one year in Hendrix's life -- 1966-67. In this period, Hendrix goes from an unknown backup guitarist at New York's Cheetah Club to a rock legend after making his mark in London's music scene.
Hayley Atwell, Imogen Poots, Andrew Buckley and Ruth Negga also star.
All Is By My Side opens September 26.
