Based on a true story, Disney's inspiring sports drama casts Jon as struggling sports agent JB Bernstein, who decides to find the next baseball phenom by flying to Mumbai, India and scouting Indian cricket players. He discovers two young talents, Rinku Singh (Suraj Sharma) and Dinesh Patel (Mittal), by organizing a television competition called Million Dollar Arm. The film serves as a biopic for Rinku and Dinesh, who hold the MLB distinction of being the first Indian nationals to sign with a major American baseball team, the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Million Dollar Arm pitches into theaters May 16.
