In theaters Friday, the new film from Drake Doremus reunites the writer/director with his Like Crazy muse Felicity Jones, who plays Sophie, an intelligent and musical British exchange student who comes to New York in search of inspiration. At first upbeat and full of promise, Sophie's integration with her host family in Upstate New York soon brings the various private struggles of each family member to the surface.
Guy plays Keith Reynolds, a frustrated musician-turned-piano teacher who long suppressed dreams and desires are reignited by Sophie’s talent and inquisitive nature. Drawn ever closer by their mutual longing for creative expression, Keith must ultimately determine how much he is willing to sacrifice -- namely the love of his wife and high school daughter (Amy Ryan and Mackenzie Davis).
