In theaters October 18, Carrie follows the events that occur when a timid teen -- shunned by her peers and sheltered by her overprotective, deeply religious mother (Julianne Moore) -- discovers that she has telekinetic powers and unleashes terror on her small town after being pushed too far at the senior prom.
