'The Hobbit: Smaug' Trailer: It Will Not End Here
"Come now. Don't be shy. Step into the light." In this new trailer for the highly anticipated The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug, we get a closer look at the battle and journey of Bilbo Baggins that led to The Lord of the Rings.
The prequel follows the Dwarves, Bilbo (Martin Freeman) and Gandalf (Ian McKellen) after they successfully escape the Misty Mountains. Bilbo has gained the One Ring, and they all continue their journey to get their gold back from the Dragon, Smaug.
"Where are you?" the dragon Smaug, voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch, says hauntingly to Bilbo before spouting out fire.
Though the trailer is without "my pretty" Gollum (Andy Serkis), Legolas (Orlando Bloom) and Tauriel (Evangeline Lilly) have some epic lines and scenes in this new sneak peek. "It will not end here. With every victory, this evil will grow," Tauriel declares.
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug hits theaters on Dec. 13, 2013.
