Hugh & Jake Pal Around on 'Prisoners' Red Carpet
Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal's characters had some serious points of contention in the upcoming drama Prisoners, but the men themselves had a ball at the Toronto premiere with ET's Rob Marciano.
The two Oscar nominees reunited on the red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival over the weekend where Gyllenhaal teased his co-star about his eating habits.
"I've got worms of some description in me," Jackman joked, responding to Gyllenhaal's claim that he eats "like a horse." "I don't know what it is, but I'm non-stop eating," Jackman added.
Prisoners -- hitting theaters September 20 -- follows small-town couple Keller and Grace Dover (Jackman and Maria Bello), whose get-together with friends (played by Terrence Howard and Viola Davis) takes a turn for the worse when their daughters suddenly disappear. Tension mounts when there is insufficient evidence to detain the prime suspect, Alex Jones (Paul Dano), despite help from police and a detective named Loki (Gyllenhaal).
"I'm so proud to be associated with them," said Terrence Howard, praising Gyllenhaal and Jackman's performances.
Melissa Leo added, "It's fun to be here, especially when you're bringing to the public a film that you can feel so proud of."
