Goodman & Crystal's New Title: Disney Legends
Should we call them "Sir"? Billy Crystal and John Goodman were bestowed this weekend at Disney's D23 Expo in Anaheim, CA with the Mouse House's highest and most coveted honor: The Disney Legends Award! Watch the video as the Monsters, Inc. and Monsters University co-stars name their favorite Disney characters and talk about their upcoming projects, including Goodman's good times on the set of The Monuments Men with George Clooney!
Hosted by Tom Bergeron, others honored at the Disney Legends event at the D23 Expo included comedian/actor/voice of the animated Mad Hatter Ed Wynn, Walt Disney Imagineering favorite Collin Campbell, Disney classics animator Glen Keane, Disney attractions developer Tony Baxter, and the late tech visionary Steve Jobs as well as late TV icon Dick Clark.
The first Disney Legend, actor Fred MacMurray, was named in 1987. Since then, 237 Disney Legends have been named, including Dick Van Dyke, Julie Andrews, Robin Williams, Annette Funicello, Angela Lansbury, Steve Martin, Alan Menken and Barbara Walters.

Each new honoree received a two-foot-tall bronze Disney Legends sculpture that signifies the imagination, creativity and magic they have brought to the company, and were immortalized in cement, to be displayed in the Disney Legends Plaza at the company's Burbank headquarters.
