The stars of Star Trek Into Darkness beamed onto the white carpet at the Empire Leicester Square theater in London earlier today to an enthusiastic crowd that was especially ready to welcome hometown heroes Benedict Cumberbatch, who plays the film's baddie, Simon Pegg, who plays Scotty, and Alice Eve, who plays Dr. Carol Marcus.

New Trek mastermind J.J. Abrams was also on hand alongside his mainstay stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban and Zoe Saldana, who round out the Enterprise crew.
