'Beautiful Creatures' Walk the Red Carpet

Shameless star Emmy Rossum stepped out looking stunning on the red carpet this week to premiere her spooky Southern tale Beautiful Creatures, in theaters February 14, and the film's stars fielded questions ranging from the film's enduring theme and what they think about possibly being the next big thing to their Valentine's Day plans!

Newcomers Alice Englert and Alden Ehrenreich join Emmy and veteran stars Jeremy Irons, Emma Thompson and Viola Davis in the new movie about warring supernatural beings and forbidden love between a mysterious individual and a young mortal. Ethan (played by Alden) is a young man longing to escape his small town, and Lena (played by Alice) is the new girl with a dark secret – she comes from a family of witches (they prefer the term "casters"), and when she turns 16 her powers will be claimed by either the forces of light or darkness. With only weeks before her birthday, the two lovers are caught in a tug-of-war between good and evil.
