Spotlight on James Bond's Aston Martin
James Bond goes back to basics in Skyfall when he breaks out his vintage Aston Martin DB5 from the garage in a scene from the newest 007 thriller, and now the film's producers are putting the spotlight on the rich history of Bond's classic car, which made its debut in 1964's Goldfinger with Sean Connery at the wheel.

"The DB5 is part of my boyhood," Skyfall director Sam Mendes recalls fondly. "I had the toy, and I had my ejector seat. I lost the little man that flew up out of the [roof], and spent the rest of my childhood looking for it."

In theaters and IMAX November 9, Skyfall finds Daniel Craig returning for his third outing as Bond, and this time his loyalty to M (Judi Dench) is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost. The film also stars Javier Bardem, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, Albert Finney and Naomie Harris.
