Ryan the 'Most Thoughtful' Boyfriend, Says Hough

Footloose is Julianne Hough's very first leading role in a feature film, and the former Dancing with the Stars pro admits the prospect of carrying a movie is pretty daunting, but with boyfriend Ryan Seacrest's help she's able to tackle her nerves.

In an almost dreamy recall of her parting with Ryan that afternoon, Julianne tells Entertainment Tonight's Samantha Harris that the American Idol host gave her a delicate pendant to help her focus and remember what would undoubtedly be one of the biggest moments of her career.

"On the way here he gave me a little present," Hough explains. "It was a cute little necklace with an 'Ariel' boot on it. He's just the most thoughtful person I've ever met."

Julianne's character in the film is named Ariel, and therefore the pendant is meant to serve as a reminder of the day she debuted the character to the world.
