The 'X-Men: First Class' Cast on Their Fantasy Superpowers
At the very least, you could say the fresh faces of the upcoming blockbuster 'X-Men: First Class' universally possess the power of extraordinarily good looks, but when it comes down to the actors' real life desire for the supernatural, these newly-appointed "mutants" share what power they'd pick if given the choice, and a whole lot more.
Kevin Bacon plays super-powered villain Sebastian Shaw in the film, and although his awesome on-screen super power is the ability to absorb and redirect energy by "kinetic echo," he says in the real world, he would prefer "invisibility" as a "sort of be a fun power to have" because he could "see what it was like to move through the world and not be looked at."
Newcomer Lucas Till jokes his desired super power would be "to do interviews better." Jesting aside, Lucas confesses that he's "always wanted to fly," especially after recently suffering through "the worst plane flight of [his] life." He says he "loves to fly, but [he doesn't] like it when someone else is in control of it."
The film also stars James McAvoy, January Jones, Zoe Kravitz, Rose Byrne, and Jennifer Lawrence.

'X-Men: First Class' takes us back to the 1960's, before Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr took the names "Professor X" and "Magneto." As young men discovering their powers for the first time, the soon-to-be archenemies work together to prevent nuclear Armageddon, as they assemble a brotherhood of extraordinary mutants. 'X-Men: First Class' hits theaters Friday, June 3rd.
