The men appear together in the opening scene of Drake's latest music video.
Drake tapped Morgan Wallen to appear in his latest music video. On Wednesday, Drake, 37, released the music video for "You Broke My Heart," and the 30-year-old country singer shows up in the opening shot.
The video starts with Drake and Morgan sitting in a restaurant, as the latter confesses, "I've got to tell you: I didn't like her. I think she might've been the wrong girl anyway."
"Well, what now?" Drake wonders in response, before he and Morgan agree to "see what else is out there."
With a high five, the pair leaves the restaurant and heads out to a car. Just as they drive away, though, two women -- played by Grace Matthews and Taylor Morris -- blow up the guys' vehicle.
The ladies star in the rest of the video, lip-syncing and dancing in the street as they watch the car burn.
Both men posted about the music video on Instagram, with Drake sharing a smiling shot of him and Morgan sitting in a car, and the country crooner posting a pic of them sitting together in a restaurant.
"I'm kinda glad she gone," Morgan captioned the photo.
Morgan's guest-starring role in Drake's music video came the same month that he gave his first major interview in two years following a series of scandals.
In 2020, he was arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct. Five months later, Saturday Night Live canceled -- but later rescheduled -- his performance after he violated their COVID-19 protocols. Then, in 2021, Morgan was caught on camera using a racial slur, prompting his label to suspend him, radios to pull his songs and more.
The latest scandal, Morgan told Billboard, showed him "just how much that people listen to me."
"I don't think I realized that, at least not at that grand of a scale at the time," he said. "I [learned] how much my words matter."
