The 75-year-old Rolling Stones frontman reportedly underwent a heart valve procedure in New York City last week.
Mick Jagger is on the road to recovery.
The 75-year-old Rolling Stones frontman took to Twitter on Thursday to share a photo of himself enjoying a leisurely stroll in the park, just one week after he reportedly underwent a heart valve procedure in New York City.
"A walk in the park," Jagger captioned the sunny pic, which showed him posing in black Nikes, gray jeans, a blue button-up and a gray hat. Fans quickly replied with well wishes for the musician, expressing their amazement at how great he looked so soon after the procedure and their excitement for his continued recovery.
Last Friday, Jagger's rep told ET that the singer "has successfully undergone treatment," and is "doing very well."
Jagger's procedure came a week after the Rolling Stones postponed the next leg of their No Filter tour, which was supposed to kick off in Miami, Florida, on April 20. The band's announcement revealed that the tour needed to be rescheduled so that Jagger could undergo "medical treatment." At the time, they declined to provide additional information on what the treatment was for.
"Mick Jagger has been advised by doctors that he cannot go on tour at this time as he needs medical treatment," the statement read. "The doctors have advised Mick that he is expected to make a complete recovery so that he can get back on stage as soon as possible."
Jagger apologized over Twitter for the delay, but judging by his photo on Thursday, he'll be back on stage in no time. See more on the singer in the video below.
