Michael Strahan Praises 'Superwoman' Daughter Isabella as She Completes Chemo for Brain Tumor

Isabella Strahan completed her chemotherapy treatment earlier this month after being diagnosed with brain cancer in October 2023.

Michael Strahan couldn't be more proud of his daughter, Isabella Strahan. The 19-year-old recently finished her chemotherapy treatment amid her brain cancer battle, and the Good Morning America co-anchor took to social media to celebrate the milestone. 

"@isabellastrahan you are a SUPERWOMAN! Ringing that bell finishing chemo and on your way! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾" Michael captioned the clip of his daughter's victorious moment. "You continue to fight with a smile on your face, strength, and determination. I am one proud Dad! Love you, Bella ❤️❤️" 

Isabella has been public with her cancer journey after being diagnosed in October 2023, and has been documenting the highs and lows on Instagram, TikTok, and her personal vlog

Her most recent video highlights the exciting celebration of finishing chemotherapy. 

"Officially finished my chemo, yay!" she says in the clip. "This is a long journey, but I made it."

Isabella celebrates with her family by her side, and the hospital throws her a confetti parade followed by the ceremonial ringing of the bell. 

Michael shares Isabella and her twin sister, Sophia Strahan, with his ex, Jean Muggli, and older kids Tanita and Michael Jr. with his ex, Wanda Hutchins. He has been in a relationship with Kayla Quick since 2015, and his girlfriend was at the hospital cheering Isabella on for her big moment. 

Isabella has gone through three surgeries while battling brain cancer. The USC student hopes to return to school after taking a leave of absence amid her health struggles.
