First Lady Melania Trump happily posed with four former presidents and former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton at the funeral of former First Lady Barbara Bush on Saturday in Houston, Texas.
Standing arm-in-arm with former First Lady Michelle Obama, Melania smiled wide next to Barack and Michelle Obama, Bill and Hillary Clinton, George W. and Laura Bush and George H.W. Bush. President Donald Trump did not attend on Saturday, instead spending the day at the golf course in Florida and watching the funeral service on television.
The photos were posted on Twitter on Sunday by Jim McGrath, George H.W.'s spokesperson.
Barbara Bush passed away last Tuesday at the age of 92 after several months of failing health. Shortly before he death, she decided to forego further medical treatments. George H.W. Bush was holding her hand up until she died.
"We have faith she is in heaven, and we all know life will go on -- as she would have it," he said in a statement about his beloved late wife. "So cross the Bushes off your worry list."
Barbara was buried on the grounds of the George H.W. Bush Library and Museum at Texas A&M University. Her grave site will be open to the public beginning 9:30 a.m. Monday, McGrath said.
