All eyes will be on the 36-year-old actress and her royal ensembles.
The Meghan Markle style effect has already begun!
Just one day after she and Prince Harry officially announced their engagement, her white coat by Line the Label and the hunter green P.A.R.O.S.H dress she wore during their first appearance as an engaged couple sold out online on that same day.
From now on, all eyes will certainly be on the 36-year-old Suits star and her attire as she steps out for any upcoming shopping, wedding planning, regular days out and royal engagements. The bride-to-be has previously stated that she defines her style as "relaxed California girl" and "effortless" -- and looking at her previous ensembles, she's all about a good classic white button-up shirt!
"I like to look polished and put together, but for me there's always going to be that effortless quality just coming from L.A.," Markle told Yahoo in 2015 during a New York Fashion Week interview. Meanwhile, the actress also believes that tailoring is "the most important thing you can do."
"You think it's not going to make a big impact, but if it fits you to a T, you look a million times better," she added.
As a global ambassador for World Vision Canada, Markle's style is sophisticated but with an added flair. She makes basic jeans, a tee and coat look chic, yet gives them a stylish twist with details like a rip, a fedora or a tasteful flat.
"I also love that French way of styling, where if your outfit is pulled together, then something’s got to be disheveled -- your hair, your makeup,” she told Glamour earlier this year.
As the fashion frenzy around Prince Harry's fiancée continues, Markle will obviously be adding a touch of flair and Los Angeles style as a member of the royal family. Here is what we envision the brunette beauty will be wearing.
Wide leg trousers and culottes.
Classic yet stylish, these types of pants can be dressed up and down for any type of engagements. Markle could opt for a pair of culottes with a flat and cute jacket for an outdoor event or wide-leg trousers and oversized blazer for an evening outing.
Basic white tees.
"I like monochromatic and tonal dressing and I don't generally wear prints," Markle expressed in the same Glamour interview. You won't see Markle in wild prints or over-the-top colors. The actress knows how to look perfectly put together in a simple white shirt.
Sheath dresses.
Like her hunter green ensemble she wore for her first interview with Prince Harry, be sure to see Markle in many colorful sheath dresses. The soon-to-be royal will add a sexy touch by having a higher hemline or mixing colors.
Stylish jeans.
Unlike Kate Middleton's classic jeans, Markle's denim will have added detailing like a distressed look, a faded or light and dark washed-out color or a trendy cuff. In many of her everyday outfits, she's seen wearing anything but plain jeans.
Leather jackets and scarfs.
During the Invictus Games, Markle stepped out in a burgundy Mackage leather jacket, which shows she isn't afraid to mix a feminine dress with an edgy jacket. Meanwhile, the L.A. girl will be bundling up for the U.K. colder temperatures with a bundle of wraparound scarfs -- which she will most likely pair with all of the above!
Flats.
The California-born actress understands comfort and knows when to slip on more sensible shoes. When she was hand-in-hand with Prince Harry at the Invictus Games in Toronto, Canada, earlier this year, she opted for brown leather flats instead of heels and instantly became our style inspo.
Most importantly, what you can expect from Markle is a charming and passionate woman who will break grounds with not only her style but also her philanthropy.
One of her No. 1 causes is women’s rights and female empowerment. Through her work as a UN Women’s advocate and trips abroad for philanthropic causes, Markle has been an outspoken activist, seeking to encourage other women and lend her voice and celebrity to good causes.
