The bride and groom-to-be are featured in Time 100's Most Influential People issue.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are being given glowing endorsements from their inner circle.
The engaged couple is recognized in Time 100's Most Influential People issue, and are held in high regard by actress Priyanka Chopra and music icon Elton John, who penned pieces about their friends for the magazine.
In Elton's article, he recalls befriending Harry's mother, Princess Diana, and meeting the Duke of Sussex when he was only a young boy.
"I first met an extremely shy and sweet Prince Harry at a private lunch at Kensington Palace, given by his mother Princess Diana for Gianni Versace and me many years ago," the 71-year-old musician remembers. "What a joy it has been to see that young boy grow to inherit his mother’s warmth, sense of humor and courage to stand up and champion the causes he truly believes in."
Elton further praises Harry for becoming a great man. "Harry and I have bonded over a passionate desire to end the global AIDS epidemic, a disease for which his mother did so much important early work to fight stigma and build awareness," he says, again bringing up the Princess of Wales, who died in 1997. "Prince Harry has that rare ability to walk into a room full of strangers and make everyone feel comfortable and at ease."
As for Priyanka's piece for Time, she also has nothing but nice things to say about Meghan. "Somewhere among biryani, poutine and endless conversations, I realized just how deeply Meghan Markle cares for the world," she begins. "With her, what you see is real, and what you get is a relatable young woman with her heart and mind in the right place."
The 35-year-old actress sweetly addresses the positive impact Meghan's love for Harry has had on her fans. "This ever-smiling, strong free spirit found her prince, fell in love and in turn made a cynical world believe in fairy tales again," she muses. "But more than anything else, Meghan is an important influencer in a world that needs strong public figures to respect and look up to."
The Quantico star adds, "People the world can be inspired by. Meghan, standing shoulder to shoulder with Harry, will be a princess for the people."
Priyanka concludes her piece by writing: "Love always, my friend. Live happily ever after."
It's not yet known if Priyanka and Elton will be at the wedding, though many suspect the piano man will perform during the festivities.
As for Priyanka, she spoke to ET last September about her dear friend and how she hopes Meghan, 33, will be known for more than just being Harry's fiancee.
"I mean, she's on the cover of Vanity Fair. It would have been nice to write about her, not just her boyfriend," she said of the Suits star covering the October 2017 issue of the magazine. "I'm just saying. I mean, she's an actor, she's an activist, she's a philanthropist. I mean, she does so much more."
"It's just a little sexist," she continued. "Look, I'm a feminist and I love boys, OK… The only thing I'm saying is that there needs to be a certain sense of equality where a woman is not just a plus one, you know. It's nice to be your own identity to."
ET also got Elton's take on the royal wedding. Here's a look at our exclusive interview:
