Welcome to The Young and the Restless family, Michael Mealor!
The 26-year-old actor is the new hunk on the CBS daytime soap, who will be breaking hearts as Kyle Abbott. ET scored a special invite to the set of the iconic series to get to know its newest star, as The Young and the Restless celebrates 45 years on television.
Calling the experience "unbelievable," Mealor has been a fan of the show since he was a kid.
"You've always heard about Young and the Restless," the Georgia native told ET's Lauren Zima. "I would watch it when I was playing hooky from school when I was a kid, coming on right after Price Is Right. So to be on this show, you couldn't have told me even two years ago I'd be on this show."
The former model had to shake off his charming southern accent for the part of Jack Abbott's (Peter Bergman) son, who returns to town after two years away and teams up with his dad’s rival, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to go toe-to-toe with his father.

The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS.
