The 35-year-old former 'Glee' actor was awaiting sentencing for possession of child pornography when he took his own life in Sunland, California, on Jan. 30.
Mark Salling's case has been dismissed.
According to court documents obtained by ET on Wednesday, U.S. District Judge Otis Wright signed off on officially dismissing the former Glee actor’s case without prejudice after he was found dead near his Sunland, California, home last week. He was 35 years old.
Salling was awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty to possession of child pornography when he died, and on Feb. 1, a Los Angeles County Coroner's Office spokesperson confirmed to ET that the death was ruled a suicide by hanging.
