Maren Morris filed for divorce in October, ending her five-year marriage.
Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd have officially ended their marriage.
According to documents obtained by ET, a Tennessee judge finalized their divorce on Tuesday, ending their five-year marriage. The judge's ruling comes almost a month after ET obtained documents stating that the exes agreed to share custody of their 3-year son, Hayes.
According to docs obtained by multiple news outlets, 33-year-old Morris is listed as her son's primary residential parent, though both she and Hurd will have their son for 182.5 days per year. The exes will alternate time with their son on a week-to-week basis, with the nonpossessory parent getting additional time with Hayes on Wednesdays as well as two FaceTime calls.
They will divide holidays based on whether it's an even or odd year, and agreed that they will work together to accommodate each other's travel schedules for work. The docs also state that whichever parent has Hayes will make the day-to-day decisions about him. However, extracurricular, health, religious and educational decisions will be made jointly.
Morris will also have to pay Hurd $2,100 per month.
Morris filed for divorce from Hurd, 37, in Oct. 2, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their separation, according to documents obtained by ET. The "Bones" songstress listed the date of filing as her separation date.
In December, Morris briefly opened up about her divorce during an interview with Howard Stern.
When she returned to the shock jock's studio with a shorter bob, the "Girl" singer said she "cut the trauma" out of her hair. After Stern asked about the status of her divorce, Morris said "it's ongoing."
Stern then asked if Morris was dating, and she replied, "No. I would like this to sort of wrap up. I don't have the head space for that yet. But I'm writing so much right now, that's kind of been my way of dating is just through song."
The music superstars met in 2014 during a writing session for Tim McGraw. They tied the knot in 2018, and in 2020 they welcomed their baby boy, Hayes.
