The duo's new song dropped on Wednesday, with the accompanying video to be released on April 24.
Maluma is living out his dreams!
The Colombian crooner was overcome with emotion after hearing his and Madonna's new collaboration, "Medellín," premiere on Zane Lowe's Apple Music's Beats 1 on Wednesday. Taking to Instagram, Maluma shared a video of himself sitting in a car and breaking down in tears while listening to the new single.
"It's impossible to hold back the tears and emotion after listening to this," the 25-year-old singer wrote in Spanish. "You don't know how happy this makes me and what this means in my life…It's worth it to dream. I told you!"
Madonna, who also announced her new album earlier this week, took a moment and wrote, " Thank you ♥️?? Madame ❌," on his post.
The duo first teased their collaboration in February when they shared photos and videos of themselves in the studio.
"Ms. Crazy & Mr. Safe ?," Maluma wrote alongside his photo. Madonna also left a comment, writing, "Me Gusta," which translates to "I like it."
Madonna also shared two photos of her and Maluma in the studio, writing, "Cooking up some Fuego over here!...............???! @maluma."
Maluma told ET back at the MTV Video Music Awards in August that he was "super grateful" for getting a chance to share his music with the world.
"I feel that this is a huge opportunity for me, for the Latin culture, actually. I feel like I’m representing my whole culture here because this is the first time that a Latin song does a complete set. I’m feeling super, super grateful," he expressed.
