The 41-year-old actor joined Instagram on Monday, and his Queen of Katwe co-star, Lupita Nyong'o, couldn't help but celebrate with an Instagram post of her own.
"@DavidOyelowo has FINALLY joined instagram! I taught him everything he knows!!! Welcome Oga! #YellowWithOyelowo," Nyong'o wrote alongside a slideshow -- with one pic of herself showing Oyelowo a thing or two on her phone and another of the pair smiling for the camera.
Oyelowo may have received a warm welcome from Nyong'o, but it looks as if it was another star who inspired him to join Instagram. The actor's first post was a photo of himself with his "hero," Oprah Winfrey.
